Basic NickServ

1.Info The info command is use to
find out information about a particualr nick
(ie is it registered, when it was registed and what feachers are on) The command is: /nickserv info nick
the info will look like this on the screen:
NickServ- *** deathcom is Bh--NickServ- (Currently on IRC) For extra info /whois deathcom--NickServ- Last seen address: [email protected] Last seen time: Sun 12/06/98 01:43:20 GMT--NickServ- Time registered: Sun 08/23/98 02:45:37 GMT--NickServ- Time now: Sun 12/06/98 03:19:37 GMT--NickServ- This user has enabled nick kill enforce.--NickServ- *** End of Info ***

2.Register
This is the command that is used to register you nick the command is: /nickserv register passwordthe infomation you will get back from nickserv will look like this:-NickServ- "deathcom_the_judge" is now registered under your account: commander2@*.2geton.net--NickServ- Your password is _______________ - please write it down for later use.--NickServ- For more information on NickServ type: /msg NickServ help--NickServ- Next database sync is in 31 minute(s)-

3.Identify
This is the command that is used to tell nickserv that you are you The command is: /nickserv identify password the information you will get bak from nickserv will look like this: if password is correct: -NickServ- Password accepted for nick deathcom_the_judge if it is not correct: -NickServ- Incorrect password for deathcom_the_judge

4.Drop This command is used when you are ready to get read of your nick the command is: /nickserv drop nickname password (One other thing you must be identifyed to the nick beofre you can drop it)the information you get back for chanserv should look like this:NickServ- Dropped nick deathcom_the_judge--NickServ- Next database sync is in 23 minute(s)-

5.Access
This command is used to set witch ip adress are allowed to use your nick.it has severel commands too it they are: /nickserv access add /nickserv access list /nickserv access delThe information feed bak is not given on this one for sacarity reasons.

6.Ghost This Command is used to get your Ghost off the server( a Ghost appreas when you get knocked of a server becouse of disconnection to the internet, or when you chnnged from a lagged server to a non lagged server that is not lag and the laged server is stillsending info to the non-lagged server) The Command is:/nickserv ghost nickname password

7.Recover/Release
These commands is used to get your nick back from either nickserv or another preson The recover command gets it bak from another person and the release command gets it back from nickserv.the commands are: /nickserv recover nickname password : /nickserv release nickname password

Basic ChanServ
1.Info
This is the command that is used to get information abour a channel (i.e. if you wanted to regester a channel you would see if it was registered or not my using this command).The Command is: /chanserv info ChannelnameThe Information That come bak from chanserv shoul look like this:ChanServ- *** Info on #______________--ChanServ- Founder :_______________-ChanServ- Mode Lock : +tnr--ChanServ- Last Topic :________________________________________________________________--ChanServ-______________________--ChanServ-__________________-ChanServ- Memo level : __________-ChanServ- ____________________--ChanServ- ____________________--ChanServ- *** End of info-The information above (info command) was taken from a channel were i'm a SOP i chose to blank the info do to i did not think it was professinel to show that thanks.

2.Register
This is the command that is used to register a #channel.
The command is : /chanserv register #channel-name password
3.Identify
This is the command that is used to identify yourself to the channel as the founder
the command is /msg chanserv identify #channel password

4.Drop
This is the command that is used to drop a channel you must be identifed as founder of the channel.
The command is: /chanserv drop #channel-name password

5.Access This command is used to find out what kind of access a user has to a channel.
The Command is /chanserv access #channel-name otherusersnickthere are severel code that tell you what they acess level is they are:ChanServ- -1 = AutoKICKed from the channel--ChanServ- 0 = basic--ChanServ- 1 = AutoOp--ChanServ- 2 = SuperOp--ChanServ- 3 = Has founder access via a NickServ access list mask--ChanServ- 4 = Has founder access via identification to NickServ--ChanServ- 5 = Has founder access via identification to ChanServ--ChanServ- If the user is not online, the user@host and access level will be

6.AOP
This is the command that is used to add AOP ,remove AOP, or find out how the AOP are in a Channel.The command is:
/ChanServ AOP #channel-name ADD otheruseresnick
: /ChanServ AOP #channel-name DEL #(on list) : /ChanServ AOP #channelname LIST :/ChanServ AOP #channelname WIPE : /ChanServ AOP #channelname CLEAN

7.SOP This is the command that is used to add SOP ,remove SOP, or find out how the SOP are in a Channel.The command is: /ChanServ SOP #channel-name ADD otheruseresnick : /ChanServ SOP #channel-name DEL #(on list) : /ChanServ SOP #channelname LIST :/ChanServ SOP #channelname WIPE :/ChanServ SOP #channelname CLEAN


8.AKICK The Akick command is the command that is used to kick out some one so they can not come bak in the channel this can be done by the nick or their ip adress.
The commands are: /msg ChanServ AKICK #Channel-name ADD Usersname : /ChanServ AKICK #Channel-name ADD *!deathcom@*..net
:/ChanServ AKICK #channel-name DEL #on the list
: /msg ChanServ AKICK #channel-name LIST : /msg ChanServ AKICK #channel-name WIPE

9.WHY
This command is used to find out why some one is oped in a channel .The command is: /chanserv Why #channel-name usersnick

10.Unban
This is the command that is used to unban some one that is band in the channel.The command is:
/ ChanServ UNBAN#channel-name ME
(this command is limmed to AOP and higher) : /ChanServ UNBAN #channel-name ALL (this command is limmed to SOP and higher)

11.Invite This is the command that is used to invite yourself into a channel that is set to invite only but is limitted to AOP's and higher.The command is : /msg ChanServ INVITE #channel-name

memoserv(for all this commands you must be identifyed to your nick)

1.List
This is the command that is used to see if you have any memos on your account.The command is: /memoserv list
2.Read
This is the command that is used to read the memos on your account.The command is: /memoserv read #(the number of the memo you want to read =#)

3.DEL
This is the command that is used to delete memos for your accountThe command is: /memoserv del #(the number of the memo you wish to delete = #)

4.UnDEL
This is the command that you use to undelete a memo after you deleted it(note it must be done before you leave irc)The command is: /memoserv undel #(the number of the memo you wish to undelete = #)

5.Purge
This commad delete every memo you have and it can not be reversed.The command is : /memoserv purge

6.Send
This command is the command that is used to send memos to others.( note:that if the presons nick is not register it will not send,) this command is also the one used to send to a channel.( you must be atleast an AOP's maybe higher in the channel to resive a memo depending (in the channel form of this command) what the founder hasset in the channel setting.The command is: /memoserv send other-personnick (your memo gose were this is) :/memoserv send #chanel-name (your memo gose were this is)

7.SendSOP
This command is the command that is used to send the SOP of a channel memos( only AOP & above can use this command) it is a channel funtion.The command is: /memoserv sendsop #channel-name (your memo gose were this is)
8.Forward
This command will foward memos from one registered nick to another registered nickyou must know the pass word of the nick you wish to forward to.the command is: /memoserv forward nick password
